hi
I am thinking of getting a laney LC 15r amp.I have been told (in the shop) I
can connect some headphones to the line out jack, it says in the manual
"this socket provides a line level output from the preamplifier taken
directly prior to the power amplifier". is this ok or can it damage the amp?

cheers

Hack,

I doubt that the signal level is high enough to drive your earphones and
most likely only one ear phone would be connected anyway. I doubt that
plugging in earphones would hurt either the amp or the earphones.
But you say that the shop suggested this so grab up some cheap earphones
and give it a try.

What he said. I had one, never tried plugging headphones in to it. I will
say I regret trading it, it was a great amp and kicked ass with single
coils.
