About a week ago I put a stick-on guard on my acoustic and now want to
remove it. Anybody have any tips on removing it.

If it is on a satin finish top, getting it off may change the look of the
underlying surface.

Assuming it is the modern flexible kind, I would try peeling it very slowly
from the sharp corner, using your fingernail to start it. You might need
pliers to get a grip on it when starting. It might also help to soften the
glue by warming it with a clothes iron set to comfortable hand heat. Put a
few layers of paper on those parts of the bare top exposed to the iron, to
act as insulation. Or stand the guitar in warm place for a bit.
